Editing Programmable Buttons

Content

ShoreTel Connect CLOUD users can change Call Appearance and Dial Number (Speed Dial) functions associated with programmable buttons on their phones and button boxes. All other programmable button features must be configured by an administrator. Programmable buttons function as shortcuts for operations that would normally require pressing two or three buttons to accomplish the same task.

The Supported Programmable Button Functions table lists the supported functions that can be programmed through ShoreTel Connect Portal. Not all programmable functions apply to all phone models.

All of the custom buttons are configurable except for the top right button, which is permanently set to provide call appearance information (that is, the ringing indicator and call timer information). A label can be entered for each button and appears on the display next to the custom button.
