Configuring Power Routing

Content

ShoreTel Connect CLOUD users can configure Power Routing rules which provide a flexible way to screen incoming calls. Decision Makers and Phone Managers can also configure Power Routing rules for users on their account.

The Power Routing subtab displays the user’s current Power Routing rules in order of priority. Power Routing rules provide a flexible way to screen incoming calls to a user’s phone number and choose how to forward the calls.

Creating a Power Routing Rule

You can choose to forward calls based on specific criteria, such as the incoming phone number, the number the caller dialed to reach the user, the user’s availability state, as well as the time of day or day of the week the call is received. Calls can be forwarded to the user’s voicemail, to a number that has been configured for the user for Simultaneous Ring, or to another number.
