Provisioning Phones for ShoreTel Connect CLOUD in the UK or Australia

By default, new ShoreTel phones are configured to connect to a ShoreTel Connect CLOUD instance in the U.S. Use the following procedure to reset the phones so that they can connect to the correct global ShoreTel Connect CLOUD instance. The fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) for these locations are as follows:

In addition to using this procedure for new phones, if a phone's configuration is ever cleared (through a reset, a phone failure, or some other event such as a MUTE CLEAR# (25327#), you would use this procedure to point the phone to the appropriate cloud instance.

  1. Press the MUTE button and then on the phone key pad press SETUP# (73887#).

  2. Enter the Admin password (1234), and press the OK soft key.

  3. Scroll to the Services menu item, and press the Open soft key.
  4. Scroll to the Cloud domain option, and use the Backsp soft key to delete 'com' and then use the keypad to enter 'eu' or 'au', so that the entire domain is 'sky.shoretel.eu' or sky.shoretel.au, depending on your location.

  5. ​Press the Back soft key, and then press the Apply soft key.

The phone reboots; when the phone displays the 'Cloud credentials' prompt, it is now pointing to the correct Connect CLOUD instance in either Europe/UK or Australia.

  1. At the Cloud credentials prompt, enter the DID number and password.

Use the following procedure to verify that the proper fully qualified domain name is specified in the Cloud domain field: 

  1. Press the MUTE button and then on the phone key pad press INFO# (4636#).

  2. Enter the Admin password (1234), and press the OK soft key.

  3. Scroll to the Services menu item, and press the Open soft key.

  4. Verify that the Cloud domain field shows the appropriate fully qualified domain name for your location.

  5. ​Press the Back soft key, and then press the Exit soft key.
